Bar Exam Study Break, Part II

Get Motivated, Inspired, Energized.

For most people, Friday means TGIF. If you are studying for the bar exam, Friday means… Nothing. You don’t get two days to relax. You get to keep studying.

You might not get to take the weekend off, but you can certainly take a night off. Consider doing a “motivational movie night.” You know the movies I’m talking about- those cheesy films that make you want to save the world.  Here are a few of my favorites:

  • General: Rocky- I or IV (Eye of the Tiger), Rudy, The Karate Kid
  • Make You Cry: Shawshank Redemption, Brian’s Song, Braveheart
  • Legal: To Kill a Mockingbird, A Few Good Men, My Cousin Vinnie
  • Lighthearted: Finding Nemo, The Mighty Ducks, Bridesmaids

Turn your brain off for a few hours, spend quality time with family and friends, laugh, cry, think about something other than the bar exam. Get motivated, inspired, and energized so you can get back to it and push through to the end.
